Property Class 12.9 Hexagon Head Bolts, DIN 933

Hydrogen Embrittlement Fracture: Property Class 12.9 steel is highly susceptible to hydrogen embrittlement. Pickling, electro-galvanizing and cadmium plating are strictly prohibited. Black oxide coating / Dacromet coating is recommended as priority alternatives.
Low-Temperature Brittleness: Impact strength drops sharply below -20°C. Use with caution in low-temperature environments.
Overload Fracture: Tightening torque shall not exceed the recommended value to prevent plastic deformation.
Maximum Operating Temperature: Long-term service temperature ≤ 250°C. Excessive temperature will cause temper softening.
